阿勒 120 - Introduction to Plant Science (4 credits)
这 course provides a foundation of plant science knowledge 和 skills. Students will experience various plant science concepts through exciting “h和s-on" activities, 项目, 和 problems. Student experiences will include the study of plant anatomy 和 physiology, classification, 和 the fundamentals of production 和 harvesting. Students will learn how to apply scientific knowledge 和 skills to use plants effectively in agronomic, 林业, 和 horticultural industries. Students will discover the value of plant production 和 its impact on the individual, 当地的, 和 the global economy. Students will work on major 项目 和 problems similar to those that plant science specialists face in their respective careers.
